The Log Cabin😉

The long, narrow path looked like it continued on for ever and ever. The small dirty stones were as smooth as paper and the light green grass was very very long. You stare at the big hill and take you first  step. The long journey uphill had begun. You see a hidden path and decide not to go down it. “I have to stay to the path” you mutter.

The crackle under your feet got annoying and the dark, gloomy forest got louder as you descended deeper. You shiver as the forest comes to life. Birds tweet, bunnies hop, deers gollop around you as if to say we have a visitor. The big, thick, mossy shamrock coloured  trees sway around like they’re dancing to a silent tune. You smile when a little baby bunny hops past you. All of a sudden you come to the worst part of the forest, the flying fox. The trees curled around the old mushed up flying fox and brown bark covered the seat. You slid onto the seat brushing all the bark off, and swung down. “The forest is so complicated” you complain. “First it is wonderful and then this?” you look around and see the trees curl around and the animals had gone all was silent.

Then all of a sudden you see it through the clearing the old, small log cabin.The sun rays shone on it and made it look shiny when really it wasn’t. You stare at it for a while. On the small little wooden deck were two fax woven chairs, the wood was a sort of beech wood colour and the smell of smoke fled through the air. You peer through the small cute windows, inside looked cozy and warm. You put your hand on the doorknob, you feel the butterflies in your stomach fluttering around like mad. You had tons of mixed feelings and didn’t know which one to feel. You thought for a minute until you were ready to go inside.😁

My Boat

I made a boat out of cardboard, tape and sticks.first I cut out a random shape from cardboard.Then I got some toilet rolls and stuck them to the cardboard I cut out.After that I covered it with a plastic bag.The next step was to put a different kind of cardboard underneath to help it float.I had to cover the cardboard with duck tape so that it want get wet.Then I put a mast up and stuck a little flag on.then I decided to build a little dinghy and tied it to the boat.I also added a little mast with a flag on the dinghy.I had lots of fun building my......

Baby Alice

Today baby Alice came and we all stood up and sang "Hello baby Alice and how are you".....song.Then we put her on the mat to see what she could do.

The first thing she did was look around at all the faces staring at her.(that's us)Then she started to play with her shoes.We gave her a toy and she dropped her shoes and picked up the toy that Mrs Word gave her.



Then we got a chair and put a toy on it to see if she could stand up holding the chair and get the toy and she did.She did so well that if baby another came she would make it look so easy! 

Stu Duval comes to school!

Today Stu Duval came to school.He was amazing.But today he told a story to us he made up his own . 

He first drew a picture and then told the story.He said that there will be a quiz and which ever class got two right that class will get the picture.

At the end of the story the quiz was on.My class only got picked once.He picked me and I got the answer right! It was 1010 worts on the witch's nose! "Ha Ha Ha Ha!"

Room 14 won in the end. And that is Erin's class! "Well done Erin!" I said to her when we finished. 

I love it when people come and show new things it was amazing especaliy Stu Duval he was amazing.
