I made a boat out of cardboard, tape and sticks.first I cut out a random shape from cardboard.Then I got some toilet rolls and stuck them to the cardboard I cut out.After that I covered it with a plastic bag.The next step was to put a different kind of cardboard underneath to help it float.I had to cover the cardboard with duck tape so that it want get wet.Then I put a mast up and stuck a little flag on.then I decided to build a little dinghy and tied it to the boat.I also added a little mast with a flag on the dinghy.I had lots of fun building my......

Baby Alice

Today baby Alice came and we all stood up and sang "Hello baby Alice and how are you".....song.Then we put her on the mat to see what she could do.

The first thing she did was look around at all the faces staring at her.(that's us)Then she started to play with her shoes.We gave her a toy and she dropped her shoes and picked up the toy that Mrs Word gave her.



Then we got a chair and put a toy on it to see if she could stand up holding the chair and get the toy and she did.She did so well that if baby another came she would make it look so easy! 

Stu Duval comes to school!

Today Stu Duval came to school.He was amazing.But today he told a story to us he made up his own . 

He first drew a picture and then told the story.He said that there will be a quiz and which ever class got two right that class will get the picture.

At the end of the story the quiz was on.My class only got picked once.He picked me and I got the answer right! It was 1010 worts on the witch's nose! "Ha Ha Ha Ha!"

Room 14 won in the end. And that is Erin's class! "Well done Erin!" I said to her when we finished. 

I love it when people come and show new things it was amazing especaliy Stu Duval he was amazing.  

 

OMAHA

In the holiday I went to Omaha.I went with my friend because mum and dad had to go to work so we had to go to sleep because it was 10.0 clock.In the morning mum was gone.We had Nurtre grain.Then we went for a swim.I was as cold as a freezer.We found some cockles and had them when we came back for lunch.Then we watched some movies we watched Rango and zoo babies and -------------------.Then we had dinner and went to sleep.The next morning we went for an hour walk and then had Nurtre grain for breakfast.Then we watched Shorn the sheep it was as funny as a clown.Then mum and dad came and we went for a scooter ride and when we came back mum and dad were packing ready to go home.I set up my own little room with all my stuff in the car.Then mum and dad got some fish and chips for dinner.It was as hot as I thought it would be because it had just come out of the oven.Then we said good by and left to go home.  

My Tidy Room

In the corner of my room is a old wardrobe.When you walk in my room the bright blue curtains shimmer in the sun.In my room I have a super sonic toy tiger.Right in the middle of my room is a soft comfy bed with toys piled on top of each other.I have dull wall paper slimmed over all my walls.I have a tall poster that hangs by a super sharp pin.Sitting on the edge of my desk is a a black complicated piano.

Bean Rock Lighthouse!!

In 1871 Bean rock lighthouse was built.The first light was fulled by Kerosene.The keeper in 1909 to 1911 ,James Anderson, had a young family in devonport.He would row a small boat and vist them.His son Ivan would send him messages in morse code with torch form his house.Every 4 hours James would have to get up and check the light to make sure that it is working. even if they are in the middle of something.Today its light is sola charged.

Smells like....Some old rusty metal.
Tastes like....Dry wood.
Sounds like....Waves crashing and bashing against my beetle stilts.
Feels like....a dusty old machine.
Looks like....a old cottage on stilts.

My family

In my family I have 5 people in my family.Their names are Megan who's my mum,Andy who's my dad,Logan who's my  big brother Kaleb who's my little brother and me!I also have 4 animals. Koa who's a bunny,scooby who's a big cat, Fleur who's a fat cat and Baxter who's a kitten.In y family we like to eat healthy food like Sushi, Indian, Chines, rice, pies and vegetables.In our backyard we have a tramp,a spa,a cage and a huge place to play in.In our front yard there is a huge tree with ropes  to swing on.We have alot of  fun.We don't go out for  dinner much because next year we are going on a cruise.My favourite thing to do is to go out for a picnic at the park.One time we were eating and in our amazement a Kokatoo came and swooped down down to us!Then with a plop! he came  and sat next  to me Logan and Kaleb. We feed him bits of rice crackers.He stayed for about an hour.That  was fun.I love my  family and my family loves me.

ANZAC SERVICE

Today Was One Of My Best Days Of My Life Because I Got Chosen To Present At Our School ANZAC SERVICE.I Was So Excited I Heard Noises Coming There Hear! As Quick As A Flash It Was My Turn! I Did It Perfect I Could Tell BY The Look On Poppers Face. At The End It Was All Over And done With. Nana Took Off My Medals And We Went Back Class As Happy As Could Be.
